Ministry of Propaganda, US Election 2008, Barrack Hussein Obama4 October 2008 6:18 am

Someone on FreeRepublic.com posted this modified WW2 poster extolling Hitler (with Obama’s face on it)… so I decided to have some fun with it by further modifying it…

The Great Leader

Couldn’t resist photoshopping this up a bit more.

…but you kind of expected something like this.

Hat tip to Dan Riehl, who fights back against the Democratic Smear Machine™ with this bit of Truth to (fire)Power™:

Given a (forgive the pun) bulletproof Democratic supermajority Congress and (in his own mind) Great Leader Obama in the White House, along with some SCOTUS and lower court packing, the effective disarming of the American citizen - the last bastion against an unchecked freefall into dictatorship and tyranny of a sort our forefathers never knew — could easily become a matter of fact rather quickly.

Or should we properly call it “ObamaCon 2008″? Probably not, as that lends it a comic book convention like feel to it.

Of course, this entire travesty of a campaign Obama has been running would have us serfs think that it is all for the glory of a superhero like Obama, who may turn out to be so much more like the Armadillo from the Capital One advert.

VDH (Victor Davis Hanson) does a right good skewering of “The Coronation”, with numerous classical references, such as the Attic Orators.

And that’s the sort of thing I like about reading VDH’s columns: every so often, he makes one learn some interesting tidbit of the Greco-Roman portion of our Western Culture that helped make us a great nation.

That, and I often have to read it at least twice to fully take in the wisdom of his writing.

Barrack Hussein Obama, Dr. Who18 August 2008 3:42 pm

h/t to Dan Riehl for his link to this article in the Daily Rubbish Guardian on how Barry “Hugh” O’Bama (he be Irish today, don’tcha know…!) has parlayed his rock-star appeal into various T-shirts, if not convincing the better half of the electorate to vote for him.

Of particular interest to Dr. Who fans might be the uncanny resemblance of one Mr. Kellam Clark, of Brooklyn, NY whose profession as an “artist” and a furniture maker are no less impressive than David Tennant’s credentials as The Doctor, if not their common fashion sense:

Now the next item we will probably see from those fine specimens of journalistic integrity over at the Daily Rubbish Guardian will be comparing the likeness of one Senator McCain to that of a Dalek… a comparison which I believe would actually not be entirely inaccurate at all.

…if Obama is a US presidential candidate, why is he campaigning in Jordan and Israel and elsewhere in the Middle East. Iraq and Afghanistan I could understand for the sake of the troops, but why should he be trying to curry favour with Iraqi politicians or other Middle Eastern governments?

Or is he already so sure of his victory landslide that he doesn’t even care to campaign amongst us bitterclingy gun-toting Bible thumpers anymore?

And finally, how will the MSM convince us that it is fair and unbalanced, now that it is so far in the tank for Obama’s campaign?

Methinkls that if Chris Matthews’ leg tingling gets any worse, they’ll have to amputate.

Commie Judge

“Lorain County Common Pleas Judge James Burge said Tuesday the state’s lethal injection procedure doesn’t provide the quick and painless death required by Ohio law.”

A rather ironic thing for a Marxist-worshiping Red of a judge to come up with.

Even more intriguing is his choice of heroes, the ever-iconic communist Che Guevara, alongside the Marxist presidential candidate of the three Muslim names, Barrack Hussein Obama. The only one missing from the trifecta of Marxism would be Uncle Joe himself.

(h/t to the Urban Grind)

A rather interesting video on its own merits, as it discusses Obama’s links to Marxism, Black Liberation Theology and Black racialism/supremacy via his mentor (the Rev. Jeremiah Wright) and his general sense of anti-Americanism.

Of particular note is the video footage of Obama refusing to render the appropriate custom and courtesy of placing his right hand over his heart during the national anthem, beginning at about 03:18 on the video’s playhead.

marxist dopeDan Riehl has a much more detailed post on Obama’s Marxist ties here, but for a short reference, check out Stanley Kurtz’s article discussing Obama and his links to ACORN, a neo-Trotskyite group active in far-left wing politics among the low income inner city population. His links to this group and its Chicago surrogates such as the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America runs deeper than one could truly be comfortable with.

Pundita also serves up some delicious details about Obama’s run in 1996 for Illinois State Senate under a Marxist party line.

Concerning the Chicago DSA mentioned above, of particular noteworthiness is their 1996 endorsement of Obama suring his IL state senate run:

Chicago DSA Endorsements in the March 19th Primary Election
Barack Obama

Barack Obama is running to gain the Democratic ballot line for Illinois Senate 13th District. The 13th District is Alice Palmer’s old district, encompassing parts of Hyde Park and South Shore.

Mr. Obama graduated from Columbia University and promptly went into community organizing for the Developing Communities Project in Roseland and Altgeld Gardens on the far south side of Chicago. He went on to Harvard University, where he was editor of the Harvard Law Review. He graduated with a law degree. In 1992, he was Director of Illinois Project Vote, a voter registration campaign that made Carol Moseley Braun’s election to the U.S. Senate much easier than it would have been. At present, he practices law in Judson Miner’s law firm and is President of the board of the Annenberg Challenge Grant which is distributing some $50 million in grants to public school reform efforts.

What best characterizes Barack Obama is a quote from an article in Illinois Issues, a retrospective look at his experience as a community organizer while he was completing his degree at Harvard:

“… community organizations and organizers are hampered by their own dogmas about the style and substance of organizing. Most practice … a ‘consumer advocacy’ approach, with a focus on wrestling services and resources from outside powers that be. Few are thinking of harnessing the internal productive capacities, both in terms of money and people, that already exist in communities.” (Illinois issues, September, 1988)

Luckily, Mr. Obama does not have any opposition in the primary. His opponents have all dropped out or were ruled off the ballot. But if you would like to contribute to his campaign, make the check payable to Friends of Barack Obama, 2154 E. 71st, Chicago, IL 60649. If you would like to become involved in his campaign, call the headquarters at (312) 363-1996.

Scary what you can find when you scratch the surface, no?

h/t to Obambi.com for the original article

I’ve always thought that MSNBC was tilted pretty far to the left (I have to wonder how much MSNBC stock is owned by George Soros’s holding companies)… but this item where Bill O’Reilly gets pretty heated at the way Obama practically got a free pass from Tim Russert vs. the roasting he gave to Hillary is rather telling of how far to the left the MSNBC noise machine really is.

The argument is over whether or not Tim Russert of MSNBC will give Scott McClellan, the latest Bush turncoat to make liberals swoon for all the “truth he is speaking to power” via his recent book which supposedly exposes the Bush administration’s lies.

The way I see it is, McClellan is going to be out of a job in a few months regardless of how the election goes, so why not make a few hundred thousand dollars off of a controversial book?

US Election 2008, Hillary Clinton, Barrack Hussein Obama5 March 2008 9:14 pm

From CBS News

Hillary hints at the Democrat primary leading toward Obama being a possible VP pick, but also says that she’d want to be on top of the ticket.

Co-anchor Harry Smith fueled the flames of speculation when he said to Clinton, “We talked to a lot of people in Ohio who said there really isn’t that significant a difference between you two, and they’d like to see you both on the ticket.”

It was a question the New York senator could have easily sidestepped. But she chose to answer it head on.

“Well, that may, you know, be where this is headed,” Clinton said. “But of course, we have to decide who’s on the top of the ticket, and I think that the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me.”

Not that this would really be a surprise, or anything. It would make McCain’s fight much, much more dangerous, with Obama’s charm, race, and speaking ability, being leavened with Hillary’s aptitude as a (socialist, liberty-squelching) policy wonk, to say nothing of her influence within the Democratic Party establishment.

In fact, Hillary is so enthralled at the potential for a Democrat presidency (especially as one who nearly sees her “mandate from heaven” to be the first female president), that it is almost all but certain that she will seek to name Obama as her VP, as she goes into “everything, including the kitchen sink” mode to win, both as a magnanimous gesture and also in light of any weaknesses she alone might present to a well-handled McCain general campaign.

Indeed, as much as McCain would have his work cut out for him just facing Hillary, facing the concession to the nutroots far left in the form of a combined ticket with Obama would make McCain’s run a long, hard slog. And the MSM hasn’t even begun to uncork its heavy artillery, no, not by a long shot.

However, I do not believe that the converse would necessarily prove true: Obama would certainly be staggered back by strongly energized campaign with the most of the GOP now backing him as the nominee-apparent, based on a hope, of course, that McCain picks a more conservative VP to balance him out in the eyes of estranged social conservatives, wary fiscal conservatives, and openly disgusted paleo-conservatives.

If by some chance the “One whose Middle Name must Not be Spoken” (Obama) stays above water until September, or manages to keep the SuperDelegates™ split on her, I seriously doubt that she will willingly subordinate herself under him. I suspect this is so mainly because she could wield more influence over the party as NY senator than she could as a VP, but I must confide that I have a rather unpleasant suspicion that she just might not want to be denied her (self-perceived) rightful “place in the sun” at the expense of a black man.

Though of course, she’ll go to her grave denying any such multi-culturally impure thoughts.
