This is a bit of an oldie, but still a goodie.

About a year and a half ago, in late February of 2007, Senator Obama was interviewed by columnist Nicholas D. Kristof of the New York Times. In this interview, Obama made a rather startling confession that rocked much of the right-wing blogosphere, which naturally lead to deeper digging into Obama’s “supposed” Islamist roots.

While his statement were never debunked as the “myth” of Obama’s “madrassah” in Jakarta, unfortunately, this still does not line up with The Official™ Narrative issued by the Department of Information Assurance™… which states emphatically that Obama is a Christian:

According to Mr. Kristof’s article in the New York Times on 27 February 2007, he wrote that Sen. Obama:

… recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Note, that Mr. Kristof calls this the “Arabic Call to Prayer”, which is what most people will think of: the muzzein, or the little guy up in the tower (or some fellow using a loudspeaker mounted in a tall spire) five times a day in Muslim neighbourhoods.

If in fact, Obama’s twenty years at a race-baiting, black majority church (Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, IL) pastored by the now particularly infamous, radical left wing black-liberation theologian, the very Left Reverend Jeremiah Wright … if this can be characterized as being anywhere near the mainstream of Christianity (much less evangelical or Fundamentalist Christianity)… then he simply *must* be a Christian, right?

But the Master warned us:

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:15-16a, KJV)

Much has been said about Obama’s religious heritage: born of a “Christian” mother turned to atheism/socialist agnosticism and a father who was born a Muslim turned and committed to outright African communism… and exposed to Islam as a young boy when he lived with his Muslim stepfather in Jakarta, and ultimately lost in a world of secularism and hedonism in the 1970s as a student at various elite leftist universities… finally coming to a rest at the Left Rev. Wright’s church.

Although in the great majority of Islamic cultures, a son born to a Muslim father is automatically considered a Muslim, with the expectation that the father will raise up the son according to the teachings of Islam. However, the true litmus test for any Muslim, (or true, Bible-believing Christians, for that matter - one of the very few things Islam and Christianity share in common) is the profession of faith.

For a Christian, it is as simple as confessing the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Saviour:

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Of course, this confession is also made by faith, and by the testimony and the sealing of the believer by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 John 5:7-8, 12, 20; KJV)

In deceptively like manner, Islam sets no great bar upon those wishing to identify themselves to the Ummah as fellow believers, requiring only that they say a prayer/affirmation known as the Shahadah.

It transliterates (according to Wikipedia - the usual standard disclaimers apply) as:
“There is no god but [Allah], Muhammad is the Messenger of [Allah]”

The longer format as referenced by Grand Old Partisan comes out as:

“Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet… “

As I said, the recitation of this prayer is very much a proof to any Muslims hearing it, that the reciter thereof is identifying himself as a fellow traveller - a citizen in the Islamic Ummah.

Can there be doubt then Senator Obama is a self-professed Muslim…?

The Archbishop of Canterbury is considered to be the top religious official in the Church of England, second only to the Crown.

So, with the UK possessed of a growing population of Muslims, many of them from the poorer regions of the Islamosphere where radical theopolitics and the teachings of Jihad have deep root, one of its major Christian leaders is not using his “bully pulpit” to call Britons to repentance and to faith in Christ, but no, he wants to give the radical Muslims even more license to browbeat the Government into more and more far reaching concessions.

Archbishop Rowan Williams has stated that Sha’ria Law (Muslim jurisprudence base upon the Koran and the Hadiths or additional teachings by historic jurists such as Al-Bukhari) should be the law of the land for Muslims to settle conflicts and such between themselves, and that (British) Muslims do not necessarily relate to all the facets of the British legal system.

He further stated: “Muslims should not have to choose between the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty”.

This does not bode well: why should we have two laws, one for one people, and another law for another? What of disputes between Muslim and non-muslim?

Would British police forces have to hire specialists in Islamic law to properly enforce Sha’ria, or would Muslim “religious police” be deputized to enforce it?

Indeed, as Rush pointed out today on his radio show, our British cousins seem to be enamoured of an authoritarian governance where so-called elites can make drastic changes to the fabric of society without regard for the consequences.

While these issues may have a few years before they percolate to our shores… it will be a sad day if we need to hold up the Koran and Mohammed on equal plane or higher than our Constitution.

As much as I *try* to avoid doing cut-n-pastes of news articles, this one is probably in danger of becoming a vapour, especially if some liberal, Islamist-loving editor decides it is “politically incorrect”

This terrorist-recognizing road name also appears on the public maps of Charlotte County. “This road sign is named after Sheikh Mubarak Gilani, a known international terrorist. It must come down,” said Martin Mawyer, president of the Christian Action Network. “Sheikh Gilani is the head of a Pakistani terrorist organization called ‘Jamaat al-Fuqra’, which has been responsible for numerous fire bombings and murders inside the United States.”

During the 1980s, Sheikh Gilani entered the United States and began forming guerilla training camps that go by the name of “Muslims of America” and “International Open Quranic University.” Sheikh Gilani has established at least two-dozen guerilla compounds inside America and claims to have between 10,000 and 15,000 followers in 22 states.

The message also linked to this site at Christian Action, which details exactly what sort of camps and training this esteemed “pillar of Islam” is sponsoring. Apparently, there are a number of schools and camps INSIDE AMERICA where young recruits to Jihadist Islam are even now being trained to make terror attacks wthin our borders.

How much longer will it be until we Americans wake up and clearly see that Islam is our enemy, an implacable foe which will not tolerate dissent…?

How much longer until we wake up from our politically correct stupor and eradicate the perpretrators of this vicious evil from our midst? When will we call our government to account to deport enemy aliens, and lockdown subversive elements operating within so many mosques and “Islamic Schools” in America?

I fear that we will soon find out, and not in a way that we see without a horrendous loss of American lives.

Splashing Sensation on the Australian Beach!

The “Burkini”.

Between the threat of roving gangs of young Lebanese-Australian rapists who apparently cannot keep thier paws off of (mostly Anglo) Australian women, and Australia’s head “Sheikh” Taj Din al-Hilali a.k.a. the “Women Are Uncovered Meat” Imam who supports and endorses them, at least one fashion designer, an Aheda Zanetti, to come up with a head-to-toe swimming garment. Like a Bikini in reverse - a “Burkini”.

And for that matter, do they make these for men as well? If so, then maybe I could get one too, as I’ve gotten a bit tubby over the past few years, and I wouldn’t want to blind anyone at the beach this summer.

If I recall correctly from “Ask the Imam“, Muslim men are not allowed to bear their legs or thighs much either… so I just might get my wish. I’ll bet Dolce and Gabana or Armani will be hopping right on that one.

So then: Is what is good for the Muslimah goose also good for the Muslim gander?

Or is it that the “Rape Sheikh” Hilali thinks so low of his co-religionists, of whom he has effectively said that Muslim men are so unable to control thier urges, that it is only natural for them to behave like animals…??

It is one (offensive) thing to compare a less than modestly dressed woman to “uncovered meat”, but it certainly implies that Muslim men are not any better than the stray “cats” that cannot pass over the “uncovered meat”..

If I may carry this “meaty” analogy to its illogical conclusion… Islam itself seems to be more of the problem than who is covering what body parts up.

Islam needs an enema to flush out all the sociopaths like Sheikh Halali in its midst.

Dan Riehl, who has left his homestead for a short time left us with this unsettling bit of news about the status of “moderate” Islam in the UK.

After watching these video clips, you just might want to wonder how it is that we won’t pass a law to outlaw Islam as an enemy ideology, and start deporting these insidious preachers of hate from our country. Of course, we will “tolerate the intolerant” to spite our own necks. And in Islam’s case… we know that has potential for truth turning out of the idiom.

Over on Sweetness & Light, we can see ultra-moonbat mom Cindy Sheehan cozing up with an Imam who has endorsed terror attacks against British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Now color me crazy… but shouldn’t that qualify her as someone who gives aid and support to an enemy… and - ipso facto - make her suspect of harboring seditious and treasonous intentions?

Perhaps the President should do the country a favour and give Ms. Sheehan a permanent accomodation in the Hotel Gitmo so she can stay with all her terrorist buddies.

Islam is madness, pure insanity. The self-mutilation with razors and knifes depicted below is an extension of the same sort of “worship” practiced by the head-slapping mullah two posts down below this. See the poor young boy try to push the arm of the guy trying to lacerate the top of (the young boy’s) his head… he is wise enough to fear the insanity raging about him.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, Mr. President… but you are terribly mistaken if you think that we can appease or even deal with such a brutish “religion” as Islam.

If anything, Islam is a religion of ignorance, a religion of hatred, a religion of oppression, and a cult of death. It has yet to prove on any grounds that it is anything to the contrary.

To you “moderate” Muslims:

WHERE ARE YOU? Why do you not protest this madness? Why do you not protest your radical Islamist rulers who call for the destruction of the free civilizations of the west, and of Israel?

If Islam is a religion of peace, WHERE is the PROOF?

The head slapping, I have learned… is a form of mourning that Shi’ite muslims perform either at funerals, or on the anniversary of a particular imam’s death.

But according to this bit of info from the Fatwa Bank (link) … this practice is looked down on by modern Islamic scholarship:

Nothing in the Shari`ah prohibits sadness for the death of dear people; it is an innate feeling. However, one should demonstrate such sadness without violating the rules of Islam. For example, slapping the face, tearing clothes, slashing the back and hitting the head with swords are all forbidden acts. If one does so, then he is harming himself, and in Islam one is not allowed to even expose himself to harm or ruin.

…However, most contemporary Shiite scholars prohibit such acts and practices and consider them a type of backwardness.

So, if I read the fatwa right… this knucklehead and his followers are breaking the rules. And I still find this video insanely hilarious.
