Here is yet another conservative that is among the growing number of conservatives flipping for Obama.

I just don’t get this:

I sure hope Obama is more open, centrist, sensible—dare I say, Clintonesque—than his liberal record indicates, than his cooperation with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid portends. If not, I will be even more startled by my vote than I am now.

Not long after Colin Powell endorsed Obama (kind of expected, given that more often than not… skin colour in America, especially among African-Americans, is much more thicker than nearly any other thing in our lives) we have Ken Adelman, a long time conservative Republican who has served since the Nixon admistration.

I could certainly understand voting third party, such as the Constitution Party’s Chuck Baldwin, an outstanding paleo-conservative candidate, who was also endorsed by the Hon. Dr. Ron Paul. Or even Bob Barr, the Libertarian. Either would be acceptable alternatives to the Rule of the NeoCons™, and certain to be more palatable choices to a conservative than the socialists like the “Axis of Taxes” promise to be (Obama-Reid-Pelosi).

But to choose a man who will lead us, along with both houses of Congress packed with a hyper-partisan, bulletproof supermajorities chomping at the bit to enact the largest raft of the most liberal, socialist, social-engineering experimentation legislation ever unloaded upon the republic…

…it is nothing but sheer madness. Even if the VP pick wasn’t suitable, in his words, for “even a mid-level post in the arms-control agency”.
