Islam is Peace? Wrong, Mr. Bush.
I pray that your eyes will be opened to what Islam is - what they do to each other:
And if you thought that Abu Gharaib was an atrocity, that event was a birthday party compared to what happens to the prisoners in this video as treated under Sharia law.
Islam is madness, pure insanity. The self-mutilation with razors and knifes depicted below is an extension of the same sort of “worship” practiced by the head-slapping mullah two posts down below this. See the poor young boy try to push the arm of the guy trying to lacerate the top of (the young boy’s) his head… he is wise enough to fear the insanity raging about him.
Warning: This following video depicts graphic violence and is not suitable for viewing by young children. However, this does not stop Islamists from indoctrinating and wounding their children with this madness.
I hate to be the one to break it to you, Mr. President… but you are terribly mistaken if you think that we can appease or even deal with such a brutish “religion” as Islam.
Do you really think that “Islam brings solace and comfort to billions of people”?
Islam is a religion of DEATH and MISERY. It is a satanic, vile blight upon humankind.
If anything, Islam is a religion of ignorance, a religion of hatred, a religion of oppression, and a cult of death. It has yet to prove on any grounds that it is anything to the contrary.
To you “moderate” Muslims:
WHERE ARE YOU? Why do you not protest this madness? Why do you not protest your radical Islamist rulers who call for the destruction of the free civilizations of the west, and of Israel?
If Islam is a religion of peace, WHERE is the PROOF?

Islam translates to submission, not peace. Peace is only found once submission of all ‘inferior’ religions and compliance by all is reached. All those opposed to Islam will be slaughtered.

This kind of stuff is pretty obvious to the observer. An even more insidious side exists, which can be seen in Ahmadinejad’s letter to the American people. In it he appropriates the terminology of The West, and exploits the problems, so-called, with our culture, most of which are standard lefty complaints. Ahmadinejad is reframing and restating the complaints of the Islamic World in ways that will trouble and confuse anyone who pays attention to it.

I am not quit sure what to make of Ahmadinutjob’s letter, beyond the very loosely put “invitation” to read the Quran.
He deserves some bit of credit… you are right in that he has skillfully appropriated the language of obfuscation that the MSM and some Beltway insiders are fond of using.
When he did that first letter to Bush several monhts ago, I really wishd that Bush had replied back in kind, with an invitation to repent and ask Jesus into his heart, and followed up by possibly a guarantee of security conditional on his cessation of nuclear research and development.
But that might be asking a bit much, I suppose. And if Bush even wrote back a letter to the Iraqis, it would get so mangled in the translation (if done in English) or simply lost (if done in Farsi by the CIA).
Best thing to have done would have been to squash it at the Press-level. Whatever happened to federal review/censorship of news from the enemy before public release during wartime… ?
Of course, some liberals would not like to hear me suggest such a thing… but the last big war in Europe wasn’t won by letting Goebbels say whatever he wanted to the NYT.
